Palm Sunday

During the Holy Mass I hear again

the Passion of Jesus,

which is linked to so many people:

Women and men,

children and the elderly,

the powerful and the powerless,

followers and enemies,

faithful and traitors,

the indifferent and the afflicted,

hardened and repentant,

cruel and compassionate,

the known and the nameless.

And me?

Is that still relevant to me?

Does it have anything to do with me at all?

Do I also feature in this story?

Which group should I belong to?

How would I have behaved back then?

How do I behave today?

What is this Jesus worth to me?

At what price do I sell him?
Through my (non-)action?

Where do I stand up for him?

What excuses do I take refuge in?

Where do I show my colors?

When do I hide my Christianity?

A story of suffering – then and now.

What role do I play in it?

Maybe a point of time to make a change …
