Kristo hana mikono, mikono yetu tu

ili kutimiza lengo lake leo.

 

Yeye hana miguu, miguu yetu tu

ili kuongoza watu katika njia yake.

 

Christ does not have lips, only our lips

in order to tell people about him.

 

He has no assistance, only our assistance

in order to bring people on his side.

 

 

We are the only Holy Scripture

that is read by the public today

 

We are the last message of God

that is written in words and acts.

This is an old prayer from the 14. Century – but as actual as today. WE are called – if in season or out of season – to follow in the footsteps of Christ and our founder Fr. Jordan.

That could mean today also to take on more engagement in our own and international community.
